The fourth piece for my senior thesis at Hamilton College. Cardi B’s meteoric rise to become Rap royalty inspired this portrait. I used Ingres’ Napoleon I on His Imperial Throne and Hassan Hajjaj’s cover photo from New York Magazine as references.
I used Faber Castell Pitt Artist Pens, india ink, and acrylic paint for this piece. 30” by 22”.
